ICANCL members would provide Health Care and other support to the needy children (abused, destitute, street children, employed in hazardous work) with the help of local NGOs. Plans for future include:
a. Street Children Program, Delhi: Several members continue to serve
weekly for the orphans, vulnerable and street children of Delhi
through drop in centers, PCI an NGO. The program has benefited
more than 25,000 street children since it’s inception in year 2000.
b. Peer leadership training for Street children: This project will build on
existing infrastructure and initiatives already taking place under the
auspices of the Street and Vulnerable Children Program (SVCP) in
Delhi. The project will work towards building healthy communities
within the street children and youth by promoting peer leadership
skills, establish peer-to-peer learning.
